Safety Certifications
The single most important feature of any power-saving appliance is it's safety certification and we are one of very few manufacturers who are proud to have been approved for these.
If an electrical device does not have the required safety certifications and you install it then you risk:
- Putting your family or employees in considerable danger should the appliance prove unsafe.
- Completely invalidating your home or business insurance if you suffer from any form of electrical fault (whether related to the non-approved appliance or not).
The Zap Box has both UL and CE safety approval that is essential if used in the USA, Europe and many other countries.
As a manufacturer of UL-certified products we must demonstrate compliance with the appropriate safety requirements, many of which are developed by UL. We must also demonstrate that we have a program in place to ensure that each copy of The Zap Box complies with the appropriate requirements. UL conducts periodic, unannounced follow-up inspections at our locations to check ongoing compliance.
As you can see below, our UL approval is registered in the name of our parent corporation "The True Potential group Inc."

The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is required in order for us to sell The Zap Box within the European Economic Area. The CE marking certifies that our Zap Boxes have met EU consumer safety, health and environmental requirements.
